A big thanks to everyone that called me today and offered your help.
Dan saw his surgeon today and was pronounced recovered enough to continue his healing process at home. Hooray!
Below are some final pictures. Check back with the blog to hear from Dan himself about his experience--directly from the horses mouth (so to speak). Dan cannot drive for two weeks or lift or do stuff like mow the grass. He cannot fly for a month. So normal is still "out there". But at least now he can continue on the road to normal at home!
